Summer Camp
With space for up to 120 campers, Camp Tapawingo offers an exciting program of arts, crafts, land and water activities in a relaxed camp environment. Campers build confidence and a sense of achievement through our thoughtful, culturally-responsive programming. We have experienced, well-trained counsellors to lend a hand and an understanding ear to campers 6-15 years of age joining us for 1- or 2-week sessions.
We also have a 4-week Leadership Training program for 16 year old campers (CIT), as well as Leadership Development for 15 year old campers.
New this year in August we will offer a 6 day program for campers of all ages to experience the magic of camp.
In line with YWCA Toronto's 2021-2024 Strategic Plan, Camp Tapawingo is undergoing positive changes to enhance equity and inclusion in camper, staff composition, as well as program curriculum. You can read more about Camp Tapawingo’s Commitment to Diversity, Equity & Inclusion here.
Camperships are available for eligible campers and counsellors-in-training who require financial assistance to attend camp. Please call 416.652.9374 for further information.
